1988 British Columbia Marketing Report
In 1988, the Social Credit Party, who were elected to run the Province of British Columbia had commissioned a Marketing Analyst Report, which laid out the economical benefits, customer base, what industries could be developed, and many other benefits, which was in regards to developing the mining of Feldsapr & Nepheline Syonite in the Province of British Columbia.
A complete copy of this report exists within this link and BC Report part B (which holds copies of Charts, & Apexes). All together, if this report would have become a reality in the Province of British Columbia, it would have added a large tax base both directly by the mining and industries brought in; and also indirectly by the companies brought in to support these industries. However, this report never came a reality, as in the name of acquiring material for "Public Works Projects" and the changing of the Mineral Amendment Act by the NDP Government, it has created an environment, where jobs, taxable assets, and possible infrastructure of plants and industry are shipped away, as material acquired under the excuse of "construction purposes" is being shipped out of the Province of British Columbia and lining the pocket books of a few.
