The Author

Angus McLeod was born in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada, as the son of David Argue and Marguerite McLeod, with a late Grandfather by the name of Angus McLeod.
Angus grew up in Port Hardy, a small fishing, logging and former mining town located on the Northern tip of Vancouver Island, just off the Western Coast of British Columbia Canada.
In 1986 Angus moved away from Vancouver Island and joined the Canadian Armed Forces. Over the span of the next almost nine years he traveled throughout Canada, parts of the Middle East and the Moscow airport in Russia. In 1995, Angus was honorably discharged from the Canadian military.
Angus' grandfather was named Angus McLeod, who was born in Saskatchewan Canada. Sadly, Angus' grandfather passed away in 1990. It was in this gentleman's memory, the reason why Angus had chosen this name as his writer's name. For Angus' grandfather was a person, who was very strong in his own beliefs, always carrying himself with great composure. In this gentleman's memory Angus carries on, in hope of preserving his name for many years to come.
Angus' mother Marguerite McLeod was born in Manitoba Canada. Marguerite McLeod is a McLeod, who descendants are of the MacLeod of Lewis Clan from the Isle of Skye in Scotland. The MacLeod of Lewis family motto is "I Shine, Not Burn ".
Angus' father, David Argue was born in Saskatchewan. David Argue is from the Argue's clan, which had migrated from the Cavan County in the Southern part of Ireland in 1821 to Ontario, Canada. The Argue's family Blazon of Arms is "The hand is a pledge of Faith, Sincerity, and Justice." When both the MacLeod's motto and the Argue's Blazon of Arms are put together, it says, "I Shine Not Burn , while the hand is a pledge of Faith, Sincerity, Justice".

Angus has hold fast in his desire to preserve a world in which "Faith, Sincerity and Justice", still exist because of his great desire that children of future generations will be able to appreciate the freedoms he has known.
Angus McLeod's late relative former Liberal Senator Hazen Argue was from Saskatchewan, and a former leader of the CCF Federal party (now known as the New Democratic Party). Hazen Argue went on from this leadership role, to being appointed by the Federal Liberal Party to the Canadian Senate, as a Liberal Senator. The late Liberal Senator Hazen Argue demonstrated true grit for his hold fast dedication to battle against Communism and standing up for the rights of the ordinary people, as he fought to keep the Corporations in check. Many people throughout Saskatchewan and many other parts of Canada, loved the former late Liberal Senator Hazen Argue.
