Angus' unexplained sickness in 2003 that almost killed him

What unexplained sickness had caused Angus McLeod's (Reginald Argue's) health to deteriorate to the point where he was hospitalized for a period of two weeks in 2003?

This unknown infectious mysterious sickness in March of 2003, caused Angus to have high white blood cell count, high fever, vomiting fluids from his stomach, feet that had turned a purplish color, swelling of the feet knees and hands, and it was too painful for him in his feet to stood or attempted to walk.

After this author had returned from the hospital, his former roommate informed Angus and his wife that there were marks on the apartment's door and sliding glass window, which appeared like someone was trying to break into where they use to live. Was this how someone had been able to possibly poison this writer, with a possible manmade bacteria? Around this time, the Iraqi war had been a little over a week old.

In addition, the Las Vegas Publisher who helped this author to copyright his second novel, came down with a similar condition of this mysterious virus and infectious outbreak that this Angus had. However, this publisher was not hit as hard as Angus was. To this date, Angus is not aware of anyone else who had come down with this mysterious virus.

So, why did this author and this publisher come down with this unexplained disease of unknown biological origins? And who gained from the uses of this mysterious toxic virus of unknown biological origins? Just before this writer's unexplained sickness had hit him in 2003, the Official opposition leader of the Canadian Federal government (Alliance/new Conservative Party leader in Canada Mr. Harper, who is currently the elected PM of Canada in 2006), rose up before the Canadian federal parliament in 2003 and went against the Canadian public support, which was against the Iraqi war. As this particular leader told parliament, "it was our duty to go off to war."

If it was our duty to go to the Iraqi war, then why didn’t this person put on a uniform and grab a rifle, and marched himself off to war? Little note to Mr. Harper, you cannot expect someone to do something that you yourself have not done or are unwilling to do.

Now correct me if I am wrong, does not the people, not the select few in a Democratic world suppose to control their countries? Is this one of the reasons why a few from the Neo Conservatives far right may have tried to silence Angus McLeod in 2003, with a mysterious bio warfare weapon, because he believes in the rights of the people, and not the few?

At this time, some people are saying that Canada has more freedom of speech than other Nations. However, if this were true why has Angus McLeod been in the Southwestern United States (over the last almost four and a half years) and not back in Canada, where he was born and raised?

Angus fully realizes that under the anti-terrorist's laws in Canada, he could be sent to jail over just words that he has written and said.

Yet, under the definition of Democracy, why have a few from the Neo Conservative far right from the Province of Alberta Canada been permitted to get away with not only political terrorism against the former Tory Party; but also acts of political terrorism against the innocent citizens of Canada? How can these select few Neo Cons talk about freedoms, when these people have opened a campaign of intimidation and political terrorism against a writer?
